Take a ride in a “Warbird", a CJ-6A that looks and flies like a World War II fighter. This fighter is housed at the Spirit of St. Louis Airport in Chesterfield, is fully aerobatic and is a two-seat trainer with full controls in the back. You will even get a chance to fly it! Your instructor pilot will be Chaminade Class of 1977 alumnus Leland C. Shanle, Jr, Lieutenant Commander, USN (Ret). Also a CCP past parent, "Chip" Shanle (Leland '04, Will '11), is a pilot, award winning author, and military/aviation technical adviser for the movie industry. His consulting projects included Pearl Harbor, Behind Enemy Lines, xXx, The Day After Tomorrow and Stealth.
